For the last 15 years, the Latke Ladies have gathered to celebrate the leading light they provide. Through their actions in family, community, philanthropy, business, law, education and health care, this group of exceptional women have been beacons of light. Individually and as a group, the Latke Ladies have mentored and developed the next group of luminaires.
This year, Latke Ladies is working to provide light to many families and communities in Puerto Rico that are still without power. By focusing on one community at a time, we can bring light where is there is none, and illuminate faces and homes with hope. The lights that you purchase for Latke Ladies Luminaires are for distribution on the ground in P.R. with reputable organizations including Heart 9/11 who are currently working in the communities of Playita and Orocovis.
Latke Ladies Luminaires has set a goal of providing 400 solar powered phone chargers and lights to needed communities.
Please donate generously and share our Latke Ladies Luminaire project with friends and family. Best wishes for a happy holiday season!

1.6 billion people around the world lack proper access to electricity. Many of these people are forced to rely upon dangerous, toxic, and expensive kerosene lanterns as their primary source of light. Through our Give Light, Get Light program, we partner with NGOs and non-profits all over the world to distribute LuminAID lights to individuals who will greatly benefit from a safe, rechargeable light source.
