Effective May 1st, 2019, we have updated pricing for our Nonprofit Subsidy Program. Based on the feedback we've received over the last year, we're making some updates that should make it quicker to understand what price your nonprofit will pay for subsidized products, and easier to take advantage of additional volume price discounts.
If you have been approved for a subsidy, you can log in to view the new rates. Pricing is listed on each product page, and volume discounts apply automatically in your cart. If you don't have an account yet, or need to apply for a subsidy, you can do that here.
We've changed our pricing structure to flat-rate numbers ending in $0.00 or $0.50 so it's easier to remember your discounted rates and fundraise accordingly. Prices have either stayed the same (plus or minus a few cents) or been lowered for ALL items.
A: If you log in to view the updated pricing, you'll find that pricing is most likely lower than it was before -- this means your funds can go even further! If you have any questions, our team is available to help -- please email us.
We realized that many organizations are purchasing smaller quantities of our 2-in-1 Phone Charger Lanterns in combination with a larger order of solar lanterns. The 2-in-1 Phone Charger lanterns can be used to equip field staff or light community spaces like churches, classrooms, or medical facilities, while the solar lanterns are distributed to families as a personal light for home use and education.
To make it easier to add 2-in-1 phone chargers to your order, we've updated our volume discount for 2-in-1 phone chargers to 25 and 100 units. Volume discounts for solar lanterns have not been changed; they are still at 100 and 250 units.
