Thank you so, so much for your support for our Hurricane Relief campaign. With your help, over 10,000 solar phone chargers and solar lanterns are pledged for hurricane relief. Over 7,000 have already shipped, with more on the way. In particular we've been excited about getting our newest innovation, the PackLite Max 2-in-1 Phone Charger, into the hands of folks who need it most.
The PackLite Max 2-in-1 Phone Charger is a solar device that charges mobile phones as well as a 150 lumen full-size lantern. Since our solar phone charger is 100% waterproof and durable, it's been what's most in demand by our partner aid organizations. Waterproof phone chargers and solar lanterns are both useful and crucial for families and aid workers left without access to power. These last few weeks, we’ve seen how impactful this innovation has been for communities recovering from Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
Our partner organizations are distributing LuminAID solar phone chargers and solar lanterns to Texas and Florida, as well as a number of Caribbean islands including the British Virgin Islands, the US Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, and the Dominican Republic. A huge thanks goes to ShelterBox, Convoy of Hope, and a variety of citizens and volunteer groups distributing desperately needed supplies for those who have lost everything.
